Gambling Ad Policy Matrix by Platform and Country
Choose countries and platforms to compare what each platform's own gambling policy says. Each cell links to a record with the license, approval, targeting and disclosure rules, the exact section of the source and the date we read it.
The platform's own country entry lists gambling ads as permitted or eligible, subject to its approval or certification and a local license.
Restricted
The platform's own country entry uses its restriction label, such as "permitted with restrictions" or "partially restricted".
Unknown / verify official policy
We could not confirm the position from an official page. Treat it as unanswered and check the platform directly.
A status describes the platform's rules only. It does not tell you whether an ad is lawful where it runs. For that, read the country rules for each market, and the guide to platform policy and the law.

What the matrix shows today
Of 24 country and platform pairs, we could confirm 11 from an official platform page on October 28, 2026. The other 13 stay marked "Unknown / verify official policy" for one of three reasons:
The page did not return readable text. Meta's policy page gave our tools only its title, so we could only read a 2023 law firm summary. We list what that summary reports but do not turn it into a status.
The page names no countries. TikTok says gambling ads are "only allowed in specified markets where gambling is legal", but its market list was empty in the text we could read. Snapchat's policy names no countries at all.
Official sources disagree. For Microsoft Advertising in the United States, the older editorial guidelines say only lottery ads are allowed, while the current program form lists the country as partly restricted.

Approval
Google gambling certification

Sources differ: the older guidelines say only online lottery ads are allowed, the program form lists the US as partially restricted, and a December 2025 trade report describes expanded sports betting and casino pilots

Why do some cells say "Verify" instead of Allowed or Not allowed?
Because we could not confirm them from an official page. We never fill a gap with a guess, so a gray dashed chip means the question is still open. Check the platform's own policy before you plan spend.
Does "Allowed with approval" mean my ads will be approved?
No. It means the platform's page lists the country as eligible for gambling ads, subject to its approval process and a local license. Approval depends on your license, your landing pages and the platform's review.
How often is the matrix checked?
Every record shows the date it was last reviewed. Platform pages change without notice, so we recheck when a platform or regulator announces a change and log real changes on the change tracker.
Can I use the CSV in my own reports?
Yes. The file includes the source URL, section and review date for each row, plus a status line that says the data is research, not legal advice. Please keep those columns when you share it.
