Privacy Notice
GamingAdRulebook collects very little personal data. There is no analytics, no advertising tracking and no account system. We handle personal data only when you write to us and in our host's standard server logs.
Who is responsible
GamingAdRulebook is responsible for the personal data described here (the data controller). Contact us about privacy at hello@gamingadrulebook.online.
What we handle
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form or email: name, email, optional organization, topic, message | To read and reply to your message | Up to 24 months, then deleted unless needed for an open correction |
| Session cookie "gr_desk" on the contact page only | Form security (a one-time token) and showing the thank-you message only to you | Until you close your browser |
| A keyed hash of your IP address, created when you send a message | Limiting messages to three per hour from one connection, to stop abuse | One hour |
| Server logs kept by our host | Security and running the site | As set by the host |
We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, social media plugins or third-party scripts. The matrix, checklist and search tools run in your browser and send nothing to us.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests to reply to messages and keep the form secure, and on your agreement when you tick the box on the contact form.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. Our hosting and email provider processes it on our behalf to deliver the site and messages.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by writing to hello@gamingadrulebook.online. Depending on where you live, you can also complain to a privacy regulator, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (UK), the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or your state attorney general (US).
Changes
If our data practices change, this notice changes with them and the date above is revised. See also the terms of use.
