Data Sources
GamingAdRulebook cites ad platform policy pages, regulator rules, legislation and industry codes, each with a date. This page lists them by type and names the gaps.
Ad platform policies
Google Ads Gambling and games policy and its update notices; Microsoft Advertising editorial guidelines, program form and US supplemental terms; Meta's Online gambling and games page; TikTok's Gambling and Games policy; X's Gambling content policy and ads policy update log; Snap's Gaming, Gambling and Lotteries policy. Each platform page in the policy library lists its sources.

Pages we could not read in full
- Meta's Online gambling and games page returned only its title to our tools. We cite a law firm summary dated August 28, 2023 instead, labeled as secondary.
- TikTok's market-specific requirements section held no market names in the text we read.
- Microsoft's US position: the guidelines, program form and a December 2025 trade report disagree, so the US record stays unconfirmed.
Reproductions and secondary sources
One rule was read through a reproduction: New Jersey's N.J.A.C. 13:69C-14.2 through Justia, because the official text was not reachable. It is labeled where it is used, and the official text should be checked before relying on it. Ohio's rule is cited from the official Ohio Administrative Code, and Bill S-211's stages from LEGISinfo.
What we do not use
Operator marketing as proof of a rule, undated blog posts, forum claims and unnamed "industry sources". Our methodology explains how sources become records.
