Standards

Editorial Policy

Our pages exist to help professionals check gambling advertising rules quickly and correctly. These standards keep them accurate, dated and independent of the companies they describe.

Sources

We use primary sources first: platform policy pages, regulator rules, legislation and industry codes. Secondary sources, such as law firm or trade summaries, are used only when the primary page cannot be read, and they are labeled as secondary wherever they appear. The data sources page lists what we rely on, and the glossary defines the terms we use.

Accuracy

  • Quotations are copied exactly, and the section is named.
  • Every claim about a current rule carries the date we checked it.
  • Numbers, dates and ages are shown only when a source states them.
  • Uncertainty is stated plainly. "We could not confirm this" is an acceptable answer.

How we use AI tools

The desk uses AI tools to help search for sources, organize notes and prepare drafts. A person checks every fact, quote and date against its source before a page is published, and the desk is responsible for every word. We do not publish text that has not been checked.

Independence

We accept no payment for coverage and carry no advertising, sponsorship or affiliate links. We are not affiliated with any ad platform, regulator or gambling operator. The owner's commercial interests are set out on the disclosure page.

Corrections and updates

Send corrections through the contact page with the page address and a source. We review every report. When a correction is confirmed, we fix the page and update its date; significant corrections are noted on the page. Policy changes we confirm are added to the change tracker.

Responsible coverage

We write for professionals, never for players. We do not promote gambling products or offers, and every page links to safer gambling help.
