What we publish

Platform policy summaries for 6 ad platforms, country rules for 4 markets, guides on certification, landing pages, age, affiliates, formats, offers and safer gambling messages, and a dated change tracker. Two tools put the research to work: the platform matrix and the pre-launch checklist. Everything is searchable in the research archive, and terms are defined in the glossary.

The audience is professional: marketers, affiliates, operators and the agencies and lawyers who work with them. We do not write for players and we do not promote gambling.

Who writes it

Pages are written and edited by Charlotte Hayes for the GamingAdRulebook Editorial Desk. We use AI tools to help find sources and prepare drafts. Every fact, quotation, number and date is checked against its original source before publication, as our editorial policy explains. The desk is accountable to the site's owner, described on the disclosure page.

What we never do

• Rank, rate or review gambling operators, or publish offers or affiliate links.
• Claim a platform allows something unless its own page says so. Gaps stay marked "Unknown / verify official policy".
• Invent studies, statistics, policy changes, testimonials or author credentials.
• Present research as legal advice or as approval from any platform or regulator.

How we work

We read each platform's gambling policy and each regulator's rules directly, record the exact section and the date we read it, and quote rather than paraphrase where wording matters. When a page cannot be read, or sources disagree, we say so. The methodology and data sources pages set this out in full.

Corrections

If something is wrong, tell us through the contact page with the page address and the source that shows the correct fact. A person reads every message. Confirmed errors are fixed and the page's update date changes.
