Signs it may be time to talk to someone
- You spend more time or money gambling than you planned, or try to win back losses.
- You borrow money to gamble, or hide gambling from people close to you.
- Gambling leaves you anxious, low or short of sleep.
Blocking gambling
Self-exclusion lets you block yourself from gambling services. In Great Britain, GAMSTOP covers online gambling. In Australia, BetStop covers licensed online and phone wagering. In Ontario, ask ConnexOntario about the options. Operators and advertisers must not market to people who have self-excluded; our guide for advertisers covers their duties.
